The present owners established Lookcustom as a private company in 1981 in order to provide uniform clothing and accessories to meet customer’s specific requirements. The company has expanded since formation to become one of the foremost providers of bespoke uniform in the country.
Using our considerable experience we have developed our portfolio of customers to include numerous NHS Ambulance Services and Fire & Rescue Services. In addition to the emergency services we also have long standing relationships with numerous blue chip customers such as British Energy, BAA, P&O Ferries, Condor Ferries, Trent Barton Buses as well as more recent customers such as the Imperial War Museum and The National Archives plus Transdev and the Original London Sightseeing Tour. During the last 10 years we have supplied many of the UK`s Ambulance Services and we were recently re-awarded the contract to supply uniform to the Welsh Ambulance Service.
The business has been built on the key area of quality both in products provided and service. Listening to the customer’s exact requirements enables us to design garments and to impartially select high performance fabrics, which are appropriate to the wearer’s tasks. These are then manufactured to rigorous production and quality controls.
Delivery of the uniform is then supported by excellent after sales service that includes personal points of contact, review meetings, provision of management reports to detail sales, garment usage and stock levels, the reports can be produced in a variety of formats as required. Review meetings would also cover new product and fabric developments, which it is felt, may benefit our customer.
Many years experience in providing fully managed contract services has meant that we have been able to put together a comprehensive package, which simplifies the complicated and often emotive issue of uniform provision.
This leaves our customers free to concentrate on their core business safe in the knowledge that their uniform is fit for purpose.
Some of the many product ranges we are able to supply include specialist Hi Visibility outerwear, PPE, Workwear, Industrial Footwear, Businesswear Corporatewear and Leisurewear.
