Accordingly, I am pleased to confirm, for example, that Aquatic Control Engineering Ltd. has awarded us the “Preferred-Installer” status under the framework contract for the Southern Environment Agency.
Most recently, we have become members of both EEEGR the East of England Energy Group and Renewables East.
Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001: 2000 and we are looking to secure IS0 14001 and OHSAS 18001 accreditation by the start January 2009.
We are full members of the ADC association of diving contractors which is viewed as the standard for commercial diving in the UK’s waters.
We are Achilles certified with the UVDB (Utilities Prequalification Scheme), which involves us being inspected yearly by their strict audit procedure as we work in a high risk industry.
They are an external independent auditing system that inspects all aspects of a project from the management system to the safe and professional running of the diving operation. We have been a part of this process for the last five years so we can give our clients the best service possible.
We are also a fully registered diving company with the Health & Safety Executive and as such you will find all our company information available from them.
All documentation that is required under the Diving at Work regulations 1997 is in place and is available for all clients to examine and assess.
As suggested during our phone call, we are currently expanding our operational capabilities and will move our office and workshops to larger facilities shortly.
Our main office for the future will now be at OrbisEnergy in Lowestoft where we hope to both contribute to and benefit from its rapid development into a key offshore renewables enterprise hub, particularly with companies like to Airtricity/Scottish & Southern Energy already resident and with companies like Siemens preparing to co-locate within the Harbour there too. Our new workshops will be in Martham near Great Yarmouth.
Although based in the east of England our services have been used in all parts of the UK and its coastal waters and we continue to provide these services to suit the client’s requirements.
