Kier provides a civil engineering and construction service to the nuclear industry. Kier has been involved in the nuclear industry since 1981, when awarded a contract by BNFL for the site preparation works for the THORP Project. Since then Kier has been resident at Sellafield completing over 70 projects, with a huge variety of work scope and content. Over the last 25 years Kier has developed the skills and knowledge gained at Sellafield and developed them at a number of other nuclear licensed sites, both civil and military.
