We would like to introduce our specialist capability in leading edge engineering surveying services. These services include High Density laser 3D dimensional data scanning, 360o panoramic high resolution photography, laser topography mapping, thermographic energy map imaging among other techniques.
Our clients today are mainly in the Defence Sector, principally DSTL, HM Armed Forces (Allenby Connaught) and QinetiQ. Through our EMIS Estates Management System software over 4,500 buildings, 10% of the Defence Estate was surveyed and managed. We have also worked in Universities and hospitals.
We have worked extensively on process plant projects both in the UK and overseas with Air Products, Costain Process, Costain International, Alfa Laval, Mobil, Nobel, Petrocarbon, Intel new plant in Israel and others. We were appointed by TML to produce digital Bills of Quantities for the Channel Tunnel. We produced the HMSO PSA digital schedule of rates.
We provide a broad surveying service, including building plans and elevations using latest High Density Laser scanning technology, topography, and condition surveys for a wide range of specialist reporting. Our photographic surveys include Infra-Red thermal imaging for energy management, as well as 360o spherical photography for lease/condition/maintenance purposes which can also be used to capture photogrammetric dimensional data and 3D modelling or walthru’s.
For MoD related clients our initial task was capture of floor and site plan data. These plans are populated with location spatial information, their use and occupancy, producing reports for the Estates Management. We developed further modules for these MOD agencies and clients creating an enterprise asset management solution, with full CADFM capabilities. Our extensive knowledge of DIO (Defence Estate) sites has enabled us to develop a wide local knowledge base.
We won two prestigious awards through our work with QinetiQ and DSTL, one being the highest Defence Estate Award for Excellence, and the other with the British Institute of Facilities Management, their top award for Innovation.
We believe our range of professional survey solutions are enhanced by our leading edge instrumentation. Also the range of modules available within our EMIS estates software covers all the demanding needs of today’s estates project managers.
