Supply Chain Relationship Code of Practice
Processes and tools have been developed to re-engineer our procurement and supply chain activities. These are being used to engage with our supply chain to work one way, with common goals, to deliver best value, efficient projects. At the centre of this way of working is the Sellafield Ltd, Supplier Relationships Code of Practice.
Key elements of the Code of Practice are as follows:-
Communication
Stakeholders in the supply chain create effective business teams, both between and within organisations. Openness and trust involves clear two-way communication throughout the supply chain.
Life Cycle Management
Total through-life costs and risks must be minimised and customer satisfaction maximised by involving all functions in the supply chain throughout the project, product or service life cycle.
Continuous Improvement
Learning from examples of excellence, sharing knowledge and building on success to enable us to always be a leader in competitive value chains.
