CTM Tier 3 and 4 Involvement
If you are a Tier 3 or Tier 4 supplier and would like to be involved in Sellafield Ltd tenders advertised in Complete Tender Management (CTM) this is the process you need to follow;
- 1. Register your company with CTM
- 2. Monitor Public Projects via your CTM homepage once you are registered. This will show you all tenders currently active, giving their reference number and title.
- 3. Click on the title of any tender, which seems to be of interest.
- 4. If the tender is at RFI (Request For Information) stage click on the RFI/RFQ Details to see a detailed description, the tender contact and “View Documents”. View Documents shows all document titles associated with the tender, any document with a world icon may be opened. If you are still interested in participating in the tender use the Back button to return to the previous screen and press the Accept button.
- 5. If the tender is at RFQ (Request For Quotation) stage you should see a Detailed Description and be able to View Documents as above. If you are still interested in participating in the tender press the Accept button.
- 6. Pressing the Accept button allows you to see the questionnaire and all associated documents. Review this information to decide what part of the project you can supply and use the Messaging tab to send this information to the buyer.
- 7. Clicking the Messaging tab, then New Message, opens an e-mail, click the To tab, tick and Select the buyer then Save. Title the email Part Supply’ and describe what part of the project you would like to supply. Pressing Send will send your email to the buyer.
- 8. When all Tier 2 suppliers have registered an interest in the tender, the buyer will list the Tier 2 suppliers and contact details in an email and circulate to all Tier 3/4 suppliers who have expressed a part interest. It is then up to the Tier 3/4 suppliers to make contact with Tier 2 suppliers and negotiate their possible joint involvement.
