The Sellafield Centre presents an unique educational experience for the whole family.
Please note that due to ongoing maintenance work, the main exhibition hall is not currently open. Only the Time Tube and Earthhouse areas (which include information boards on the history of Sellafield Ltd, the UK nuclear industry and west Cumbria) are open to the public.
We advise that prior to your visit, you ring the Centre to check what facilities are available.
Opening hours:
Sellafield Centre open: From 0730 – 1730 hours Mon-Fri
Public exhibition open: 1000 – 1600 hours, last entry 1530 hours Mon – Fri
The centre will be closed on weekends, bank holidays and over the Christmas period
