Vital equipment replaces cards this Christmas

Greedy pigs!
A group of Sellafield workers are taking part in a competition to see who can eat the most ‘pigs in blankets’ in 10 minutes in a bid to raise at least £1000 for charity.

Development work to begin at local rugby club

Employees Charities Fund Awards 2007

Fun Run pays off
Thanks to the support of friends, local businesses, and fellow colleagues at Sellafield, Pauline Bell has collected nearly £1500 which will go towards raising awareness and funds for the Meningitis Research Foundation.

Sellafield Ltd is supporting a regeneration project taking place in Egremont by sponsoring the production of a series of photographic panels featuring an exhibition of local artwork produced by local young people and people from the Egremont Youth Works. Sellafield staff raise valuable funds for Children in Need
On Thursday and Friday of last week, staff at the Sellafield Visitor’s Centre arranged for Pudsey Bear to tour the Sellafield site and Banna Court, helping to raise over £1900 for Children in Need.

Picture exchange hailed a success

In the pink
As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October the Engineering Design Capability monthly communications brief was gate crashed by some members of the Sellafield Communications team who offered cakes for a donation to the charity. Toni Fell and Gill Warburton from the team then made their way round Hinton House until all the cakes were gone.
