Low Level Wastes on the Sellafield site
Over the past few months, Sellafield Ltd have held a series of workshops, looking at the best options of dealing with waste oils, metals, combustible materials, asbestos and high volumes of low level radioactive waste.

We have chosen not to prepare a HVLA BPEO report at this stage because of the nature of the challenge, and further work is required.
Plutonium Contaminated Materials at Sellafield
The public consultation on what should be done with plutonium contaminated materials produced and stored as wastes at Sellafield ran from March until May 2007. Consultation documents, reports and final BPEO report can be seen through the links below.
