Electrical & Instrumentation Craftsperson
We are looking for someone with the ability to carry out detailed maintenance work using written instructions.
Qualifications
With a recognised apprenticeship (city and guilds level 1&2) Electrical/ Instrumentation Maintenance or Electrical Maintenance.
Essential Skills/ Experience
Industrial maintenance experience is essential, particularly the maintenance and repair of fault findin instrument control systems ( level, pressure, density, flow etc., including instrument equipment installation and replacement methods and/or experience of maintaining, fault finding and repair of manufacturing or production line equipment.( ie conveyor systems, positioning systems).
*Able to undertake complex maintenance work using written instructions and procedures.
*Candidates must be familiar with maintenance management systems and will also have experience of
*Isolation and Energisation Procedures.
*Capable of understanding and interpreting engineering drawings and instructions.
*Adaptable to new skills and willing to work flexibly with other trades and plant operators.
*Able to work with minimum supervision.
*Able to undertake complex maintenance work using written instructions and procedures.
Instrumentation – practical experience/knowledge of maintenance on pressure, level, flow and weigh instrumentation. Experience of condition based monitoring techniques would be an advantage.
Electrical – experience of Insulation and continuity testing and isolation procedures. Practical experience of working on serve motors, 3 phase motors and invertors.
Control Systems - basic plc/DCS knowledge.
