Carol steps into the PIME light

Corporate Affairs Manager, Carol Leak

Sellafield Ltd employee, Carol Leak, has been invited to take the chair at an international communication conference in Warsaw, Poland.

PIME, the conference on Public Information Materials Exchange, is the annual focal point for professional nuclear communicators all around the world.

It is the only conference of its kind designed especially for communicators in the nuclear industry and research communities – a unique international meeting that has grown in value and stature year-on-year.

Corporate Affairs Manager Carol said: “I am delighted to be chairing a session on the role of internal communications in a crisis.

“Not only is this an excellent opportunity for communicators across the world to share their experiences, it is also a chance to benchmark what we do at Sellafield”.

Iain Irving, NMP’s Director for Stakeholder Relations at Sellafield Ltd, said: "It is an honour for Sellafield Ltd that Carol has been requested to chair a session at this prestigious PR conference and it is to her great credit that the organisers have selected her as a key figure in her profession.

“I am sure that this will be a great experience for her and that she will bring some valuable learning back to Sellafield Ltd.”
