Award for Sellafield Ltd Legal Team
The Sellafield Ltd Legal Services team has picked up an award after being named the Best In House Legal Team at the first ever Law Society Commerce and Industry Group North West Awards Ceremony.
The event was held at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester on 21 October and the Sellafield Ltd team beat off strong competition from the legal teams of Manchester United, United Utilities Group Plc and BUPA Health.
The judging panel recognised and complimented the quality of the legal advice and support that the Sellafield Ltd Legal Services team deliver to the business across all the areas in which they work.
The team detailed the diversity of the work that they do from advising on major commercial transactions and procurement, through complex regulatory and nuclear law issues, employment law, property and planning as well as supporting the company in areas such as insurance and governance.
Head of Legal Services, Andrew Carr, said: “This is an award for the whole of the legal team, we are really proud of the work that we do and the team’s commitment and enthusiasm has clearly shone through”.
