Energize makes final again
Sellafield Ltd’s Stakeholder Relations team are celebrating this week having been short-listed for a CiB North West award for their internal newspaper, Energize.
The CiB awards are the largest and most prestigious showcase for internal communication in the UK and beyond.
The awards cover all aspects of internal communication activity and reflect the growing complexity and rapid changes in the world of communications.
Energize, a monthly twelve page broadsheet paper, is produced by the team with contributions from across Sellafield Ltd. The paper is then laid out, printed and distributed by Cumbria Newsgroup in Carlisle.
Commenting on making the short-list, Employee Communications manager, Julie Berry, said: "It's great to feature in a category which is always particularly hard fought. To be recognised by experts in the field of internal communications as one of the top three company newspapers in the north is a real credit to the team involved in the production of Energize."
Having made the short-list stage repeatedly in recent years, the team are hoping for success when the winners are announced at the presentation evening on Friday 26 March.
