Sellafield Ltd awarded certification
Notification has been received from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) of Sellafield Ltd's success in being awarded Certification in respect of its Purchasing Policies and Procedures.
Certification marks Sellafield's achievement of CIPS' internationally recognised standard of excellence and is held by only circa 70 organisations globally.
Certification also marks Sellafield Ltd's achievement of the standard for the first time in its own right. Sellafield had previously been accredited under the award scheme through the Certification secured by British Nuclear Group Ltd.
