Mark Neate
Biography
Mark Neate joined Sellafield Ltd in February 2012. He enjoyed a diverse military career, from Parachute School to a master’s degree in Military Strategy, from the hills of Forkhill to the concrete of Baghdad.
He has spent considerable time abroad as a specialist adviser; most recently working with the US Army for senior officers such as General Petraeous.
As a strategist he was intimately involved in Iraqi operational planning and subsequently the deployment to Helmand Province. He was lead operational staff officer for the defence contribution to ‘Global Counter Terrorism’.
He has enjoyed the great privilege of commanding soldiers at a variety of different levels.
He has held previous roles within Sellafield Ltd, including the Director of Security and Resilience.
