My summer placement at Sellafield has been in a reprocessing plant, developing proposals for future engineering work. I have enjoyed pursuing the tasks assigned to me, as I get a lot of chances to go around different plants, meet with technical managers and I am learning a vast amount about technical and engineering processes.
There are plenty of other interesting and innovative prospects for career development and I definitely want to come back to explore more; Cumbria is very beautiful and everyone is very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend Sellafield Ltd if you are looking for a challenging career and to gain some valuable work experience.
