Removal of Calder Hall's cooling towers on the Sellafield Site in West Cumbria represents the most visible advancement of decommissioning so far undertaken by Sellafield Ltd in the UK.

The demolition successfully took place at 9am - Saturday 29th September 2007. You can see the video of the demolition below.
