Dr. Todd Wright has more than 31 years of leadership experience in complex nuclear operations, project management, achieving safety performance excellence, and advanced technology research and development. In his leadership positions at three of the most complex nuclear sites in the world, he has clearly demonstrated that he understands how to successfully lead complex organisations and manage unprecedented change in highly regulated environments. He has an outstanding record in advanced cultural transitions for large incumbent workforces, and in achieving safety and productivity excellence. His diverse background in both operations and research and development provides a unique skill mix to integrate technology into operations.
Prior to his current position, Dr. Wright served as Deputy Managing Director for Operations at Sellafield for two years, where he has been instrumental in leading significant progress in safety delivering decommissioning, reprocessing, nuclear waste management, and fuel manufacturing activities at the United Kingdom’s largest nuclear facility.
Prior to Sellafield, Dr. Wright served at several locations, including Savannah River National Laboratory where he held the position of Laboratory Director.
