Prior to joining URS IN 2006 Iain spent over 16 years in operational management roles at Sellafield, including – shift manager at THORP, Special Assistant to the Chief Executive, Head of Low Level Waste Repository, Head of Manufacturing at Low Active Effluent Treatment Plants and Head of Business Improvement for Production Operations.
Iain has lived in Cumbria for over 18 years and is married with two young daughters. He is also a director of the Whitehaven Maritime Festival Company.
