PRODUCTION
ACHIEVEMENTSOur achievements include the production of more than 5,000 containers of solid high level waste, reprocessing over 50,000 tonnes of spent nuclear fuel and processing over 3,000m³ of historic radioactive solvent stocks.

Sellafield Site
Measuring 6 sq kilometres, the Sellafield site is home to over one thousand nuclear facilities including the Magnox and Thorp reprocessing plants, the Sellafield MOX plant and a range of nuclear waste treatment facilities.

Capenhurst Site
The Capenhurst site stores the bulk of the UK's inventory of depleted uranium and uranium hexafluoride; products that are potentially reusable in the nuclear fuel cycle, subject to UK government policy.
